Abstract

<jats:p>The energized electron and ions generated by plasma interacted with the adsorbed CH<jats:sub>3</jats:sub> species and accelerated the CH<jats:sub>3</jats:sub> species to desorb from the catalyst surface, thus reducing the amount of the carbon deposition and enhancing the conversion of CH<jats:sub>4</jats:sub>.</jats:p>
