Abstract

An Ir<sup>I</sup> -system modified with a ferrocene derived bisphosphine ligand promotes α-selective arylation of styrenes by dual C-H functionalization. These studies offer a regioisomeric alternative to the Pd-catalyzed Fujiwara-Moritani reaction.
