Abstract

© 2017 The authors and IOS Press. We describe the use of the ANGELIC methodology, developed to encapsulate knowledge of particular legal domains, to build a full scale practical application for internal use by a firm of legal practitioners. We describe the application, the sources used, the stages in development and the application. Some evaluation of the project and its potential for further development is given. The project represents an important step in demonstrating that academic research can prove useful to legal practitioners confronted by real legal tasks.
