Abstract
A hybrid FEM-GO method is proposed and a new CAD tool based on it is developed for anechoic chamber simulation. The proposed method can deal with a chamber with arbitrary shape and arbitrary layout of radio absorbing material. The normalized site attenuation values are simulated and match the measurement results well. It is shown that the proposed method is an efficient and effective way for chamber design and simulation.
