Abstract

<jats:title>A<jats:sc>bstract</jats:sc></jats:title><jats:p>The production cross-sections of<jats:italic>ϒ</jats:italic>(1<jats:italic>S</jats:italic>),<jats:italic>ϒ</jats:italic>(2<jats:italic>S</jats:italic>) and<jats:italic>ϒ</jats:italic>(3<jats:italic>S</jats:italic>) mesons in proton-proton collisions at<jats:inline-formula><jats:alternatives><jats:tex-math>$$ \sqrt{s}=13 $$</jats:tex-math><mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:msqrt><mml:mi>s</mml:mi></mml:msqrt><mml:mo>=</mml:mo><mml:mn>13</mml:mn></mml:math></jats:alternatives></jats:inline-formula>TeV are measured with a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 277 ± 11 pb<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup>recorded by the LHCb experiment in 2015. The<jats:italic>ϒ</jats:italic>mesons are reconstructed in the decay mode<jats:italic>ϒ</jats:italic>→<jats:italic>μ</jats:italic><jats:sup>+</jats:sup><jats:italic>μ</jats:italic><jats:sup>−</jats:sup>. The differential production cross-sections times the dimuon branching fractions are measured as a function of the<jats:italic>ϒ</jats:italic>transverse momentum,<jats:italic>p</jats:italic><jats:sub>T</jats:sub>, and rapidity,<jats:italic>y</jats:italic>, over the range 0<jats:italic>&lt; p</jats:italic><jats:sub>T</jats:sub><jats:italic>&lt;</jats:italic>30 GeV<jats:italic>/c</jats:italic>and 2<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>0<jats:italic>&lt; y &lt;</jats:italic>4<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>5. The ratios of the cross-sections with respect to the LHCb measurement at<jats:inline-formula><jats:alternatives><jats:tex-math>$$ \sqrt{s}=8 $$</jats:tex-math><mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:msqrt><mml:mi>s</mml:mi></mml:msqrt><mml:mo>=</mml:mo><mml:mn>8</mml:mn></mml:math></jats:alternatives></jats:inline-formula>TeV are also determined. The measurements are compared with theoretical predictions based on NRQCD.</jats:p>
