Abstract

<jats:title>A<jats:sc>bstract</jats:sc></jats:title><jats:p>We report the measurements of the<jats:italic>CP</jats:italic>-violating parameters in<jats:italic>B</jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>s</jats:italic></jats:sub><jats:sup>0</jats:sup> → <jats:italic>D</jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>s</jats:italic></jats:sub><jats:sup>∓</jats:sup><jats:italic>K</jats:italic><jats:sup>±</jats:sup>decays observed in<jats:italic>pp</jats:italic>collisions, using a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup>recorded with the LHCb detector. We measure<jats:italic>C</jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>f</jats:italic></jats:sub>= 0<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>73 ± 0<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>14 ± 0<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>05,<jats:italic>A</jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>f</jats:italic></jats:sub><jats:sup><jats:italic>ΔΓ</jats:italic></jats:sup> = 0.39 ± 0.28 ± 0.15,<jats:inline-formula><jats:alternatives><jats:tex-math>$$ {A}_{\overline{f}}^{\varDelta \varGamma }=0.31\pm 0.28\pm 0.15 $$</jats:tex-math><mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:msubsup><mml:mi>A</mml:mi><mml:mover><mml:mi>f</mml:mi><mml:mo>¯</mml:mo></mml:mover><mml:mrow><mml:mi>Δ</mml:mi><mml:mi>Γ</mml:mi></mml:mrow></mml:msubsup><mml:mo>=</mml:mo><mml:mn>0.31</mml:mn><mml:mo>±</mml:mo><mml:mn>0.28</mml:mn><mml:mo>±</mml:mo><mml:mn>0.15</mml:mn></mml:math></jats:alternatives></jats:inline-formula>,<jats:italic>S</jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>f</jats:italic></jats:sub>= −0<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>52 ± 0<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>20 ± 0<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>07,<jats:inline-formula><jats:alternatives><jats:tex-math>$$ {S}_{\overline{f}}=-0.49\pm 0.20\pm 0.07 $$</jats:tex-math><mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:msub><mml:mi>S</mml:mi><mml:mover><mml:mi>f</mml:mi><mml:mo>¯</mml:mo></mml:mover></mml:msub><mml:mo>=</mml:mo><mml:mo>−</mml:mo><mml:mn>0.49</mml:mn><mml:mo>±</mml:mo><mml:mn>0.20</mml:mn><mml:mo>±</mml:mo><mml:mn>0.07</mml:mn></mml:math></jats:alternatives></jats:inline-formula>, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. These parameters are used together with the world-average value of the<jats:italic>B</jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>s</jats:italic></jats:sub><jats:sup>0</jats:sup>mixing phase, −2<jats:italic>β</jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>s</jats:italic></jats:sub>, to obtain a measurement of the CKM angle γ from<jats:italic>B</jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>s</jats:italic></jats:sub><jats:sup>0</jats:sup> → <jats:italic>D</jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>s</jats:italic></jats:sub><jats:sup>∓</jats:sup><jats:italic>K</jats:italic><jats:sup>±</jats:sup>decays, yielding<jats:italic>γ</jats:italic> = (128<jats:sub>− 22</jats:sub><jats:sup>+ 17</jats:sup>)<jats:italic>°</jats:italic>modulo 180°, where the uncertainty contains both statistical and systematic contributions. This corresponds to 3<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>8<jats:italic>σ</jats:italic>evidence for<jats:italic>CP</jats:italic>violation in the interference between decay and decay after mixing.</jats:p>
