Abstract

<p>Oligomer chain length and backbone twisting were found to have a strong effect on optoelectronic properties but a trimer of dibenzo[<italic>b</italic>,<italic>d</italic>]thiophene sulfone was found to have high photocatalytic activity approaching that of its polymer analogue.</p>
