Abstract

<jats:title>A<jats:sc>bstract</jats:sc> </jats:title> <jats:p>A measurement of the transverse polarization of the <jats:italic>Λ</jats:italic> and <jats:inline-formula> <jats:alternatives> <jats:tex-math>$$ \overline{\varLambda} $$</jats:tex-math> <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <mml:mover> <mml:mi>Λ</mml:mi> <mml:mo>¯</mml:mo> </mml:mover> </mml:math> </jats:alternatives> </jats:inline-formula> hyperons in <jats:italic>p</jats:italic>Ne fixed-target collisions at <jats:inline-formula> <jats:alternatives> <jats:tex-math>$$ \sqrt{{\textrm{s}}_{\textrm{NN}}} $$</jats:tex-math> <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <mml:msqrt> <mml:msub> <mml:mi>s</mml:mi> <mml:mi>NN</mml:mi> </mml:msub> </mml:msqrt> </mml:math> </jats:alternatives> </jats:inline-formula> = 68<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>4 GeV is presented using data collected by the LHCb detector.
