Abstract

<jats:title>A<jats:sc>bstract</jats:sc> </jats:title> <jats:p>The first untagged decay-time-integrated amplitude analysis of <jats:italic>B</jats:italic> <jats:sub> <jats:italic>s</jats:italic> </jats:sub> <jats:sup>0</jats:sup>  → <jats:italic>K</jats:italic> <jats:sub>S</jats:sub> <jats:sup>0</jats:sup> <jats:italic>K</jats:italic> <jats:sup>±</jats:sup> <jats:italic>π</jats:italic> <jats:sup>∓</jats:sup> decays is performed using a sample corresponding to 3.0 fb<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup> of <jats:italic>pp</jats:italic> collision data recorded with the LHCb detector during 2011 and 2012. The data are described with an amplitude model that contains contributions from the intermediate resonances <jats:italic>K</jats:italic> <jats:sup>*</jats:sup>(892)<jats:sup>0,+</jats:sup>, <jats:italic>K</jats:italic> <jats:sub>2</jats:sub> <jats:sup>*</jats:sup> (1430)<jats:sup>0,+</jats:sup> and <jats:italic>K</jats:italic> <jats:sub>0</jats:sub> <jats:sup>*</jats:sup> (1430)<jats:sup>0,+</jats:sup>, and their charge conjugates. Measurements of the branching fractions of the decay modes <jats:italic>B</jats:italic> <jats:sub> <jats:italic>s</jats:italic> </jats:sub> <jats:sup>0</jats:sup> → <jats:italic>K</jats:italic> <jats:sup>*</jats:sup>(892)<jats:sup>±</jats:sup> <jats:italic>K</jats:italic> <jats:sup>∓</jats:sup> and <jats:inline-formula> <jats:alternatives> <jats:tex-math>$$ {B}_s^0\to \overset{\left(\hbox{---} \right)}{K^{*}}{(892)}^0\overset{\left(\hbox{---} \right)}{K^0} $$</jats:tex-math> <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <mml:msubsup> <mml:mi>B</mml:mi> <mml:mi>s</mml:mi> <mml:mn>0</mml:mn> </mml:msubsup> <mml:mo>→</mml:mo> <mml:mover> <mml:msup> <mml:mi>K</mml:mi> <mml:mo>*</mml:mo> </mml:msup> <mml:mfenced> <mml:mo>—</mml:mo> </mml:mfenced> </mml:mover> <mml:msup> <mml:mfenced> <mml:mn>892</mml:mn> </mml:mfenced> <mml:mn>0</mml:mn> </mml:msup> <mml:mover> <mml:msup> <mml:mi>K</mml:mi> <mml:mn>0</mml:mn> </mml:msup> <mml:mfenced> <mml:mo>—</mml:mo> </mml:mfenced> </mml:mover> </mml:math> </jats:alternatives> </jats:inline-formula> are in agreement with, and more precise than, previous results.
