Abstract

The distribution of degradation products, before and after cycling, within common sulfide-based solid electrolytes (β-Li<sub>3</sub>PS<sub>4</sub>, Li<sub>6</sub>PS<sub>5</sub>Cl and Li<sub>10</sub>GeP<sub>2</sub>S<sub>12</sub>) was mapped using Raman microscopy. All composite electrodes displayed the appearance of side reaction products after the initial charge-discharge cycle, located at the site of a LiNi<sub>0.6</sub>Mn<sub>0.2</sub>Co<sub>0.2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> particle.
