Abstract

<jats:p>By combining different structural features to scatter phonons Bi<jats:sub>8</jats:sub>CsO<jats:sub>8</jats:sub>SeX<jats:sub>7</jats:sub> (X = Cl, Br) exhibits ultra-low thermal conductivities of ∼0.22 W m<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup> K<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup> at room temperature.</jats:p>
