Abstract

<jats:p> <jats:italic>Ex vivo</jats:italic> transdermal permeation and deposition of atovaquone solid drug nanoparticles. Topical administration exhibited limited penetration, intradermal injection delivered a burst release and the microneedle assisted route offered sustained delivery.</jats:p>
